2024-2025 Honor Roll & Special Contributor to the North Kitsap Schools Foundation
Exceptional giving deserves a little extra praise.
Sometimes it’s not just about dollars given, but dedication and contribution of effort above and beyond that exemplifies NKSF’s ideal to “go beyond the basics.”
Carol S. Glad, as a real estate agent with John L. Scott Realtors, has contributed consistently to NKSF’s Honor Roll every year as a local professional. Those contributions certainly deserve notice, and we’re proud to have had the support of her financial contributions, but also her spirited commitment to public education in North Kitsap.
For more than 12 years, Carol has served on the NKSF board of trustees in a number of different roles, most recently as Secretary. A no nonsense person of the highest integrity, she’s given uncountable hours in support of our community’s educators and children, providing a fun and exciting classroom environment for an entire generation of kids.
Beyond her own personal financial contributions, Carol has worked tirelessly for years to encourage community giving through appearances at community service organizations to help spread the word, and organizing highly successful fundraising events. Carol’s Herculean efforts with the 2023 Lemolo Wine Walk raised over $14,000 in funds for NKSF’s 2023-2024 grants program.
This year is Carol’s last as a board member with NKSF, and we’re going to miss her straight talk and clear-headedness around the table. The North Kitsap community couldn’t be more lucky to have such a thoughtful, giving person like Carol.
