A fund was recently established with NK Schools Foundation to provide swimming lesson scholarships for kindergarten through 8th grade students. In this county surrounded by water all kids should know how to swim whether their family can afford swimming lessons or not.
Applicants for the scholarships must be North Kitsap School District students with good academic standing, and a demonstrated financial need. Scholarships may be used for swim lesson levels 1 through 3. Click here for an application.
Donate to the Water Safety Scholarship Fund by sending a check made out to North Kitsap Schools Foundation, with a note on the check that it is for the Water Safety Scholarship Fund. Mail it to:
