Breidablik Elementary School is located in the northwestern part of the district, and serves Breidablik, Lofall, and Port Gamble.

Breidablik staff have used three classroom grants over the years aimed at improving the health and fitness of their students.  Physical Education teacher, Robert Webb, used two grants to purchase curriculum material that he uses with all students in the school which go beyond just physical activity to teaching about lifestyle and nutrition aspects of physical fitness.

Fourth grade teachers  Barbara Hall and Leslie Maule purchased heart rate monitor watches to integrate physical fitness into their science lessons.

Music teacher Cynthia Gilman used grant money to help in her project with students, parents, and community volunteers to build a marimba.

Fifth grade teacher Jerrine Gabrio used grant money to purchase materials for an original integrated science and writing curriculum which uses “discrepant events” (unexpected results) as its theme.
