North Kitsap Schools Foundation awards grants to classroom teachers for innovative and creative teaching tools and projects. We also administer post-secondary scholarship programs and special scholarship programs for District students.

Alumni Scholarship Golf only a month away!

Tell your friends! Come and help raise money for scholarships for KHS and NKHS grads by playing golf, sponsoring a hole, having dinner, or just donating. Click on the golf course picture at the left for more information.

Poulsbo-NK Rotary Donates for Classroom Grants

Poulsbo-North Kitsap Rotary has donated $600 for our Classroom Grants Program. This generous donation will fund two Classroom Grants. Organizations and individuals can make contributions for the Classroom Grants Program by sending a check to NK Schools Foundation at PO Box 1236, Kingston, WA  98346, or by using the on-line “JustGive”, Donate button on this page.

Suquamish Tribe Awards Funds for Classroom Grants

The Suquamish Tribe has awarded North Kitsap Schools Foundation $2,000 for our Classroom Grants Program. The funds come from the Tribe’s Appendix X Community Awards Program. This award kicks off the fundraising campaign for this year’s Classroom Grants Program. Our goal is to raise $6,000. Proposals will be evaluated and grants awarded in November.

Alumni Scholarships Announced

NK Schools Foundation congratulates the recipients of the 2010 Alumni Scholarships.

Kingston High: Elizabeth Sander, Blythe Leigh, Kyle Barnak, and Gregor Uvila.

North Kitsap High: Kyle Paul, Marianna Wood, Alexander Read, Bernard (Joey) Patten, Lyssa Davis, and Taylor Ottomano.

Funds for these scholarships are raised at the annual Alumni Golf Tournament at Gold Mountain.  This year’s tournament is on August 27.  Sign up to play golf,

NKSF Donor will Match Wolfle Walk Funds

UPDATE! “Walk for Wolfle” was a total success and NK Schools Foundation will match the $3,000 raised at the event, making a total of $6,000 available for the school’s web-based math program.

Thanks to an anonymous donor,  North Kitsap Schools Foundation will match money raised (up to $3000) by the Wolfle PTA “Walk for Wolfle”.  Funds will be used to support computer-based math programs at Wolfle.
