6th Annual Alumni Scholarship Golf Tournament Set

Information on this summer’s 6th Annual Alumni Scholarship Golf  Tournament and entry forms are now available.  The tournament is a fundraiser for scholarships for students graduating from NK School District high schools.

“Yes” on School Levy

The levy passed with over 71% in favor.

North Kitsap Schools Foundation supports the North Kitsap School District maintenance and operations levy.

Water Safety Scholarship Fund Established

A fund was recently established with NK Schools Foundation to provide swimming lesson scholarships for kindergarten through 8th grade students.  In this county surrounded by water all kids should know how to swim whether their family can afford swimming lessons or not.

Applicants for the scholarships must be North Kitsap School District students with good academic standing, and a demonstrated financial need.  Scholarships may be used

NK Schools Foundation selects graduating scholarship recipients from “Local” scholarship applications.  Application forms are available from high school counselors.

Renewal application forms and information for Alumni Scholarship recipients are available HERE. They are due May 1, 2010.

Renewal application forms and information for James and Emily Johnson Scholarship recipients are available HERE.  They are due April 1, 2010.
